Our Story
Darla
Darla started her love affair with food by working at gourmet food shows around the country in her early teens. Since then she’s been chasing authentic food around the world, cooking feasts out of her friends’ kitchens and throwing dinner parties for the record books.
Why do Julia and Sammy say you were a race car driver in a past life?
I got my first speeding ticket when I was 16. I was going 50 miles per hour over the limit. I haven’t slowed down since. I love fast cars and faster motorcycles. Do RVs come in six-speeds?

Sammy

Since she was crowned most unique dresser in high school, it’s no surprise that Sammy founded a vintage fashion company. In a place like New York where style rules the streets, Sammy still manages to stand out with her ever-growing drive to make people feel excited about fashion.
You’re 5’9” … flats or heels?
I’m all about the heels. I love walking into a party rockin’ a pair of 3-inchers knowing I’ll be the tallest female in the room. Added bonus: I can look any man straight in the eye.

Julia

Music has always come naturally to Julia, who started memorizing song lyrics before she could even spell her own last name. The piano-playing songstress has been featured on Good Morning America, played in top music venues across the country and continues to populate her playlist with undiscovered musicians.
Where is the strangest place you’ve ever performed?
I once played at a rest stop on the New Jersey Turnpike during dinner rush. I set up my keyboard in the middle of the dining area, put on a show and won over a traveling audience.
